It looks like a jailbreak solution that will be compatible with iOS 9.3.5 (the latest version of iOS 9) is about to become reality. Some might think that a jailbreak for this old version of iOS is useless and that it would be better for jailbreak developers to focus on iOS 10.3.3 or even iOS 11. Pangu Expose iOS 10.3.1 Jailbreak on iPhone 7 at Mobile Security Event

With every iOS upgrade, Apple is expanding its efforts to prevent jailbreaking and other security breaches, but it seems that Pangu Team is not impressed, demonstrating an alleged jailbreak for iOS 10.3.1 running on the iPhone 7.

Earlier this month, Apple removed all digital signatures for iOS 10.2.1 and iOS 10.3, which made it impossible to install or downgrade those iOS versions. Thus, any effort in developing a compatible jailbreak solution for iOS 10.2.1 is basically compromised. But if the hacker’s demonstration is true, it may be a matter of time before jailbreak fans can access the solution.
